Quick and Crafty Hairstyle Event
Braids & Barrettes by Kesha Yvonne, the Daddy Daughter styling experience, at Optimist Park was a major success. As promised, the quick, crafty hairstyle event offered gift bag giveaways, games, and prizes. Designed to offer a lot of helpful information, the event also provided priceless moments for both the father and the daughter. Kesha and her group of small business women professionals kicked off the event by passing around coloring material and the styles covered for the day. Then both her and her team participated by providing one-on-one help to guide attending fathers through the process. Lastly, gift Bag Giveaways included all the party favors needed to work through the event and then complete the task at home. Items included but were not limited to: combs, brushes, barrettes, rubber bands, gel products, stickers, and more.
Timeless Takeaways
“Behind every great daughter is a truly amazing dad” – Anonymous
The entire day was truly an amazing experience to watch. All of the fathers were actively involved in the event and were all genuinely excited to learn and reap the recognition of their achieved style. Each father completed a look which matched that on the original poster, so all and all it was a successful class that garnered continuously useful applications. After attending this class, these dad’s can now step in and style their daughters’ hair for school, weekend activities, and all hence increasing times spent with their daughter.

Dad’s can now participate in this process by helping get their daughter ready in the morning for school or any other casual event. Kesha Yvonne understands times have changed, and the mother may not be around or just busy, but she says you shouldn’t have to go to barbershop or salon every time you need something like this done. Of course, you are always more than welcome to book an appointment with her to achieve more advanced styles or still these styling appointments; however, these simple children’s styles are great for those every day looks to get you through the week without having to come in.
